AHM is a specialist operator of full and limited service hotels. The company has a proven track record of working with internationally known brands, generating revenue and running hotel operations profitably.

We are responsible for all aspects of a hotel’s development from site acquisition, pre-opening operations set up and opening launch to brand selection and contracting. Once open we bring our management skills to bear in driving forward sales and controlling costs to maximise revenue, yield and profit.


The Brand Choice

In assessing new site opportunities AHM chooses the optimum brand, negotiates the license agreement, interprets the brand standards, implements the standards and maximizes the ‘System’ resources.

The AHM team has a deep knowledge and experience of working to and delivering the exacting standards required of international brands.

AHM currently operates two world class internationally renowned brands: Holiday Inn and Days Inn.


Operating Method

AHM operate a centralised management accounting function from our Head Office using the Uniform system of accounts. This enables us to benchmark key ratios.

AHM monthly meet with Owners monthly to review business performance. Monthly account accounts, sales reports and key account performance are reviewed, together with the local economy and competitor performance.


The Maximization of Revenue

AHM’s approach is that an integrated sales and marketing approach is required from all market segments in order to maximise revenue and profit.

While Brands provide national identity, sales & marketing cover, a worldwide reservation system and set high quality standards for both build and personnel.

AHM directs local sales and marketing expertise for over 50% of revenue which the Brands do not supply, in particular the local market for commercial accounts, conference sales and leisure marketing.

Finally AHM’s direct hands on operational management brings its tremendous experience to bear in terms of yield management, training, health & safety and the maximising of operating standards.
